Post Description

Pay Scale   Pay Level -10 in the Pay Matrix (Rs. 56100-177500/-)
Age   Not exceeding 35 years as on normal closing date. Not exceeding 40 years for Scheduled Caste candidates as on normal closing date in respect of the vacancies reserved for them. Relaxable for regularly appointed Central/UT Government Servants upto 5 years as per instructions or orders issued by Govt. of India from time to time. Essential Qualification (s)   A). EDUCATIONAL
B.Tech in Computer Science/ Computer Engineering/ Information Technology from a recognized university or institute.
B). EXPERIENCE-
Having at least three years research experience in Computer Science in Research and Development aspect related to water resources and coastal engineering projects.

Note 1 Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission for reasons to be recorded in writing in case of candidates otherwise well qualified.

Note 2 The qualifications regarding experience are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission for reasons to be recorded in writing in the case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, if at any stage of selection the Union Public Service Commission is of the opinion that sufficient number of candidates from this community possessing the requisite experience are not likely to be available to fill up the post reserved for them.
Desirable Qualification (s)  
Duty(ies)   Work related to maintenance of all electronic equipments, hardware, software, intra-organization connectivity, power back-up, system back-up, update data recording of CWPRS’ manual, service record, communication with service provider, all other work as per the GOI mandate related to digitization along with cyber security.
Probation   One year
Headquarters   Khadakwasla, Pune with All India Service Liability.
Other Details   General Central Service, Group ‘A’, Gazetted. (Non-Ministerial).The post is permanent.

The post is not suitable for “ Ataxic” in One Arm affected and One Leg affected sub categories of Locomotor Disability category of PwBD.
