| Age | Not exceeding 35 years as on normal closing date. Not exceeding 40 years for Scheduled Caste candidates as on normal closing date in respect of the vacancies reserved for them. Not exceeding 38 years for Other Backward Classes (OBC) candidates as on normal closing date in respect of the vacancies reserved for them. Relaxable for regularly appointed Central/UT Government Servants upto 5 years as per instructions or orders issued by Govt. of India from time to time. | Essential Qualification (s) |
A). EDUCATIONAL- Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering from a recognized University or Institute, and B). EXPERIENCE- Having at least three years research experience in Electronics/ Instrumentation related to water/power/marine aspects. Note 1 Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission for reasons to be recorded in writing in case of candidates otherwise well qualified. Note 2 The qualifications regarding experience are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission for reasons to be recorded in writing in the case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, if at any stage of selection the Union Public Service Commission is of the opinion that sufficient number of candidates from this community possessing the requisite experience are not likely to be available to fill up the post reserved for them. |
