Post Description

Pay Scale   Level-07 (44900-142400) in pay matrix as per CCS (RP) Rules, 2016. (Total emoluments excluding T.A. and HRA at the time of initial appointment will be Rs. 44,900/- plus DA as applicable per month)
Age   Not exceeding 30 years as on normal closing date. Relaxable for regularly appointed Central Government Servant upto five years as per instructions/orders issued by Govt. of India from time to time. For age concession applicable to some other categories of applicants, please see relevant paras of the ‘Instructions and Additional Information to Candidates for Recruitment by Selection. Note- The eligibility criteria i.e. Age, Experience etc. will be counted as on 16.04.2020 as this vacancy was originally scheduled to be launched with vacancy details on 28.03.2020 with the closing date 16.04.2020.
Essential Qualification (s)   A. Educational

Degree in Law from a recognized University.

Note 1- Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the U.P.S.C for reasons to be recorded in writing in the case of candidates otherwise well qualified.

B. Experience- Three years’ experience of Legal Work in Govt. Department including experience as a Legal Practitioner as an Advocate, if any.
Desirable Qualification (s)  
Duty(ies)   1. Dealing with all legal matters under A& N Administration related to District Courts, CAT, High Courts and Supreme Court.
2. Preparation of 5 years and annual plan etc., renewal of temporary post under the establishment of Legal section, secretariat, A&N Administration.
Probation   2 (Two) years
