Post Description

Pay Scale   Pay Scale of Rs. 15600-39100 plus 7600 Grade Pay, Minimum of the Pay Band of the post i.e. Rs. 15600/- or D.C. rate whichever is higher for a period of intial 03 years for Direct Recruitees.
Age   Not exceeding 40 years as on normal closing date. Relaxable for regularly appointed Central/U.T. Government Servants upto 5 years as per instructions/orders issued by Govt. of India from time to time. Essential Qualification (s)   A. EDUCATIONAL
(i) Degree in Architecture of a recognized University or equivalent.
(ii) Should be registered as Architect with Council of Architecture, India.

B. EXPERIENCE Five years experience in the Profession.
DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE- NIL

Note 1 Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission for reasons to be recorded in writing in case of candidates otherwise will qualified.
Desirable Qualification (s)  
Duty(ies)   The Architect collects information regarding building from client department. He meets the client department and Engineers and finalizes sketch design. He asks for structural, public health, sanitary and electrical proposals from respective Engineers for designs and after administrative approval prepares working drawings of the buildings.
