Post Description

Pay Scale   (Rs. 15600-39100/- (PB-3) plus Rs. 5400/-(Grade Pay) Revised Pay Matrix Rs. 56100-177500 /- (Level 10) Pay Rs. 56100 plus allowances as admissible.
Age   Not exceeding 38 years for OBC Category as on closing date. For Govt. Servants upto 5 years in accordance with the instructions or orders issued by the Central Govt. of India.
Essential Qualification (s)   A. EDUCATIONAL:
Master’s Degree in Agriculture or Agricultural Extension or Sociology or Home Science Extension from a recognized Agricultural University.
OR

Bachelor of Science (Agriculture) from a recognized University or Institute with Master of Business Administration from recognized University or Institute.

EXPERIENCE:- Three years experience in agricultural extension work in any Government Department or Autonomous or Statutory Organization or in any University or recognized Institution.
Desirable Qualification (s)   Two years experience in conducting Agriculture or Home Science Extension Training Programmes
Duty(ies)   i. To promote gender concerns in agriculture and action research on critical issues.
ii. Development and maintenance of comprehensive data on women polices in Agriculture.
iii. Monitor and assess gender impact of programmes of Agriculture.
iv. Identify and float macro/micro level studies.
v. Review the policies and Govt. decisions from women’s perspective/farmers.
vi. Prepare training modules on gender issues in Agriculture.
vii. Organize national level interactions between administrators and women farmers.
Probation   01 year for Direct Recruits.
Headquarters   Headquarter is at present at New Delhi but liable to serve in any part of India or abroad.
Other Details   General Central Service, Group ‘A’, Gazetted. (Non-Ministerial).
The post is permanent.
