Post Description
| Pay Scale | Level 7 (Rs. 44900/- to 142400/-) (Total emoluments at the minimum of the scale Rs. 44900/- plus DA as applicable per month approximately. |
| Age | Not exceeding 30 years as on normal closing date. Relaxable for regularly appointed Central/U.T. Government Servants upto 5 years as per instructions/orders issued by Govt. of India from time to time. For age concession applicable to some other categories of applicants, please see relevant paras of the ‘Instructions and Additional Information to Candidates for Recruitment by Selection.’ Note - The eligibity criteria i.e. Age, Experience, etc will be counted as on 02.04.2020 as this vacancy was already advertised on 14.03.2020 with the closing date 02.04.2020. |
| Essential Qualification (s) |
A. EDUCATIONAL Master Degree from a recognized University in Chemistry (Inorganic) or Chemistry (Organic) or Microbiology. Or Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University/Institution in Engineering/Technology in Pharmaceuticals or Chemical or Petro Chemical. B. EXPERIENCE Two years practical experience in Production or Development or Quality Assurance in the field of Drugs & Pharmaceuticals or Chemical, or Petroleum products or Paints Technology or Bio-Technology from recognized organization or undertaking. Note 1 Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission for reasons to be recorded in writing in case of candidates otherwise well qualified. |

| Duty(ies) | The Officer shall be responsible for quality assurance activities & AHSP activities, Inspection, Acceptance & Capacity Assessment of Firms for Defence Supplies, vetting of draft indents/agreements/supply orders, sampling plans, liaison with production units, Scrutiny & Audit of Test Data of Stores, Technical & Administration duties/correspondence. |
