Post Description

Pay Scale   Rs. 15600-39100 (PB-3) plus Grade Pay 5400/- (pre-revised). Revised pay Matrix Rs. 56100-177500/- Level-10 (Total emoluments at minimum of the scale Rs. 56100/- plus DA and other emoluments as applicable per month approximately.
Age   Not exceeding 35 years as on normal closing date. Not exceeding 38 years for Other Backward category candidates as on normal closing date in respect of the vacancies reserved for them. Relaxable for regularly appointed Central/U.T. Government Servants upto 5 years as per instructions/orders issued by Govt. of India from time to time. Essential Qualification (s)   A. EDUCATIONAL B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent.

B. EXPERIENCE Three years experience in planning, construction and execution of Civil Engineering Projects.

Note:- Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission, for reasons to be recorded in writing, in the case of candidates otherwise well qualified.
Desirable Qualification (s)  
Duty(ies)   They will be overall in-charge of civil sub-division, responsible for checking of running accounts, prepare plan, design, detailed estimate for projects, scrutiny of same before submission to higher authority, maintain records regarding initial accounts, responsible for clearance works accounts, all outstanding/recovery in cases advance value of store sold.
Probation   Two years

Other Details   Group ‘A’, (Non-Ministerial). The posts are permanent.
