Post Description

Pay Scale   Pre-revised Pay Scale- Rs. 15600 – 39100 plus Grade Pay of Rs. 6600 in PB – 3. Revised Pay as per 7th CPC Level-11 (Rs. 67700-208700) in the Pay Matrix. Total emoluments excluding T.A. & HRA at the time of initial appointment will be Rs.67700/- DA as applicable plus Special Incentive Allowance @ 20% of Basic Pay p.m.
Age   Not exceeding 40 years as on normal closing date. Relaxable for regularly appointed Central Government Servants upto Five years in accordance with the instructions or orders issued by Central Government from time to time. Essential Qualification (s)   A. EDUCATIONAL
1. Degree in law from a recognized University or Institute and
2. Three years experience at bar dealing with criminal laws or fiscal laws.
OR
1. Master’s Degree in law from a recognized University or Institute and
2. One year experience at bar dealing with criminal laws or fiscal laws.
B. EXPERIENCE As mentioned above
Desirable Qualification (s)  
Duty(ies)   i). To give advice on all matters referred by the various Ministries/Departments of the Government of India.
(ii) To Look after Government litigation work .
(iii). To appear in courts on behalf of the Central Government, wherever required and
(iv). To perform administrative and other works as may be assigned.
Probation   One Year
Headquarters   Directorate of Enforcement, 6th Floor, LokNayak Bhawan, Khan Market, New Delhi- 110003 with all India Service Liability
Other Details   General Central Service, Group ‘A’ Gazetted, Non – Ministerial. The posts are permanent.
