| Pay Scale | Pay Level- 10. |
| Age | Not exceeding 30 years as on normal closing date. Not exceeding 35 years for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, not exceeding 33 years for Other Backward Classes candidates in respect of vacancy reserved for them. Relaxable for regularly appointed Central/ UT Government/ NDMC Servant upto five years as per instructions/order issued by Govt. of India from time to time. | Essential Qualification (s) |
Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized University /Institute Or equivalent. Note Or equivalent means a pass in Section “A” and Section “B” of AMIE of the Institution of Engineer (India) in relevant branch of Engineering. EXPERIENCE:- One year experience in the relevant field. Note “Relevant field “ means experience in the field of A.C plant / 11 KV HT or EHV substations for construction /maintenance works. NOTE- The qualification are relaxable at discretion Union Public Service Commission in case of candidates otherwise well qualified. |

The Assistant Engineer is in charge of a Sub Division and reports to Executive Engineer for the management and efficient execution of works within their sub-division. The Assistant Engineer maintains initial accounts, records and stores as well as work abstracts. |
