Post Description

Pay Scale   Level-10 in the pay matrix (₹ 56,100-1,77,500/-) with NPA .
Age   Not exceeding 35 years as on the normal closing date. Relaxable for regularly appointed Central/ U.T. Government Servant upto Five years as per instructions/orders issued by Govt. of India from time to time. Essential Qualification (s)   A. EDUCATION

(i) Bachelor of Medicine or Bachelor of Surgery from any recognized University or

(ii) Master degree in Anatomy or embryology or reproductive Biology or Genetics or Embryology or Clinical Embryology or Microbiology from any recognized University.

(iii) One year experience in the field of human in-vitro-fertilization techniques from a hospital or Central Government or State Government or Autonomous Body or statutory Body or any private hospital recognized by Government.

NOTE- 1 The crucial date for determining the age limit shall be the closing date for receipt of applications from candidates in India.

NOTE- 2 The qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Commission, for the reasons to be recorded in writing, in case of candidates otherwise well qualified.
Desirable Qualification (s)  
Duty(ies)   • To ensure that all necessary equipments are present in the laboratory and are functional.
• Collections of eggs and sperm from patients for processing
• Maintain viability of gametes tissues & embryos during processing, embryo culture & cryopreservation, record keeping
• Help the clinical embryologist in doing all embryology related work in the IVF laboratory
• To maintain record of all procedures carried out in the laboratory
• Any other duty assigned by the superior officer.

Other Details   General Central Service Group ‘A’ Gazetted Non-Ministerial.The posts is Permanent.
