Post Description

Pay Scale   Level 7 of the Pay matrix of 7th CPC.(Rs. 44900-142400)
Age   Not exceeding 30 years as on closing date. Not exceeding 33 years for Other Backward Classes candidates as on closing date in respect of the vacancies reserved for them. Relaxable for regularly appointed Central/U.T. Government servants upto five years as per instructions/orders issued by Govt. of India from time to time. Essential Qualification (s)   A. EDUCATIONAL-
Post Graduate Degree in Social Work/Sociology/Education/Psychology of a recognized university or equivalent.
Note- Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of Union Public Service Commission in case of candidates otherwise well qualified.
B. EXPERIENCE-
Three years’ experience in work relating to rehabilitation or placement or evaluation or training of physically handicapped persons.
Desirable Qualification (s)  
Duty(ies)   • Visits in Govt. Offices/industries/communities/NGOs /Hospitals and training institutions.
• Deliver career talks, introductory / publicity talks in public, attend seminars to update knowledge for dissemination of the same with PWDs for their economic rehabilitation.
• Data compilation and Monthly Narrative Report.
Probation   2 Years
Headquarters   New Delhi with All India Service liability.
Other Details   General Central Service, Group ‘B’, Gazetted, Non-Ministerial. The post is permanent.
Any Other Conditions   The Candidates recruited to the post will be governed by the New Contributory Pension Scheme 01.01.2004.
