Post Description

Pay Scale   Level 8 (Rs. 47,600 – 1,51,100) in pay matrix of 7th CPC.
Age   Not exceeding 33 years for other Backward Classes candidates as on closing date in respect of the vacancy reserved for them. Relaxable for regularly appointed Central/UT Government servants upto five years as per instructions/orders issued by Govt. of India from time to time. Essential Qualification (s)   Educational: Chartered Accountant or Cost and Management Accountant or Chartered Financial Analyst or Master of Business Administration (Finance) or Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Finance) or Company Secretary from a recognized university or institute.

Note: Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission, for reasons to be recorded in writing, in the case of candidate otherwise well qualified.
Desirable Qualification (s)   Two years’ experience in the field of capital markets.
Duty(ies)   (i) To act as member of investigation team to investigate corporate frauds, collect evidences, record statements and provide expertise in matters involving Capital Market/Merchant Banking
(ii) To assist in providing legal inputs to counsels for filing complaints and assist in liaisoning with other investigation agencies
(iii) Any other work assigned from time to time.
Probation   Two years subject to successful completion of mandatory induction training of two weeks duration.
Headquarters   New Delhi with All India Service Liability (AISL)
Other Details   The post is classified as General Central Service, Group B, (Gazetted) (Non-Ministerial). The post is permanent.
