| Pay Scale | Rs. 15600-39100 plus 5400 Grade Pay (Pre-revised) |
| Age | Not exceeding 35 years as on normal closing date. Relaxable for regularly appointed Central/U.T. Government Servants upto 5 years as per instructions/orders issued by Govt. of India from time to time. |
| Essential Qualification (s) |
A. EDUCATIONAL- (i) Degree in Architecture or an equivalent diploma from a recognized University /Institution or equivalent. (ii) Should be registered with the Council of Architecture. B. EXPERIENCE- Two years experience under a Registered Architect. Note 1 Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission for reasons to be recorded in writing in case of candidates otherwise will qualified. |

| Duty(ies) | The Assistant Architect assists the Architect in the preparation of working drawing and detailed drawings. Responsible for proper upkeep and handling of the drawings. He submits monthly progress report of the work done by his group to the Architect for further action. |

| Any Other Conditions | 1. The Pay scale is equivalent to Level 18 (Revised) as per 6th Punjab Pay Commission & total emoluments will be Rs. 77174/- approximately (excluding HRA & CCA), subject to further revision if any, as per G.O.I., Ministry of Home Affairs latest notification no. G.S.R. 230€ dated 29.03.2022 duly adopted by Chandigarh Administration regarding Chandigarh Employees (Condition of Service) Rules, 2022. 2. The candidates at entry level will submit the Certificates of ICT Skills training course CCC plus -126 hours - 200 hours from a Govt. Recognized Institution OR a reputed Institution which is an ISO 9001 certified OR of Department of Electronics Accreditation of Computer Course (DOEACC), Govt. Of India OR from NIELIT and its authorized Institution at the time of their appointments. The ICT Skill course is mandatory for all fresh recruitments (Entry Level). |
