| Pay Scale | Level–07 of pay matrix (Rs.44900-142400) |
| Age | Not exceeding 30 years as on normal closing date. Relaxable for regularly appointed Central/U.T. Government Servant up to Five Years as per instructions/orders issued by Govt. of India time to time. | Essential Qualification (s) |
EDUCATIONAL- Master Degree in Sociology or Psychology or Criminology from a recognized university. EXPERIENCE- One year teaching experience in a recognized institution in the field of Sociology or Psychology or Criminology. |

| Duty(ies) | The duties and responsibilities for this post is to take classes of the trainees of Basic Course as well as in- service course police officers on the topics like Modern India & Role of Policy/Human & Police Attitude/ Understanding Critical Social Groups & Conflict Situations/Personality of the Police Officers/Police Community Relations / Criminology & Penology etc. in addition to other administrative responsibilities assigned to the officer. |
