Post Description

Pay Scale   Rs. 56100-177500 (Level-10 of Pay Matrix) plus NPA
Age   Not exceeding 35 years as on normal closing date. Relaxable upto five years in respect of Government servants, in accordance with instructions or orders issued by the Central Government.
Essential Qualification (s)   A. EDUCATIONAL

(a) Bachelors degree in Unani Medicine from a recognized University or Statutory State Board or Council or Faculty of Indian Medicine recognized under the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine Act, 2020 (14 of 2020).

(b) Enrolment on the Central Register of Indian Medicine or State Register of Indian Medicine.

Note The qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the U.P.S.C. for reasons to be recorded in writing, in the case of candidates otherwise well qualified.
Desirable Qualification (s)  
Duty(ies)   (i) To diagnose and treat patients in O.P.D./I.P.D.
(ii) Administration of Unani Unit of which he/she is put in-charge.
(iii) To attend health Camps/Melas organized by NDMC/Govt. of NCT of Delhi/Govt. of India.
(iv) To perform any other duties assigned by the Director (AYUSH) from time to time.
Probation   Two years
Headquarters   New Delhi Municipal Council.
Other Details   Group A Unani Physician Cadre.
Any Other Conditions   (a) Private practice of any kind whatsoever shall not be allowed including any consultation and laboratory practice. (b) All the vacancies are permanent.
