Post Description

Pay Scale   Level–07 of pay matrix as per 07th CPC (Rs.44900-142400)
Age   Not exceeding 30 years as on normal closing date. Relaxable for regularly appointed Central/U.T. Government Servant up to Five Years as per instructions/orders issued by Govt. of India time to time. Essential Qualification (s)   (A) EDUCATIONAL

Master’s Degree in Forensic Science from recognized University.

(B) EXPERIENCE

One year experience of teaching on the subject in recognized University or one year analytical experience in Centre for Forensic Science Laboratory (CFSL) or State or in Forensic Laboratory of Union Territory or one year analytical experience from a recognized University.

Note 1- Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission for reasons to be recorded in writing, in the case of candidates otherwise well qualified.
Desirable Qualification (s)  
Duty(ies)   (i) Impart theoretical training in Forensic Science subjects to trainees.

(ii) Organize practical classes in Forensic Science training for the benefit of trainees.

(iii) Organize practical demonstration/simulation exercises in Forensic Science.

(iv) Maintain and update the Forensic Science Laboratory of the Academy.

Other Details   General Central Service, Group- ‘B’, Gazetted, Non-Ministerial. The post is Permanent.
