Level-12 of the pay matrix.
Not exceeding 40 years as on normal closing date. |Essential Qualificaiton (s)||
(i) Degree in Mining Engineering from a recognized University or Institution OR pass in Section A and B of the Associate Membership examination in Mining Engineering Branch from the Institution of Engineers (India)incorporated by the Royal Charter 1935.
(ii) First Class Mine Manager’s Certificate granted under the Coal Mines Regulations,2017 (Unrestricted) or under the Metaliferous Mines regulations, 1961 (Unrestricted) and .
(iii) Ten years experience in Mining in large and mechanized underground Mines.
Note 1. - Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission, for reasons to be recorded in writing, in case of candidates otherwise well qualified.
Note 2. - The qualification regarding experience is relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission for reasons to be recorded in writing, in the case of candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, if at any stage of selection the Union Public Service Commission is of the opinion that sufficient number of candidates from these communities possessing the requisites experience are not likely to be available to fill up the posts reserved.
|Desirable Qualificaiton (s)||
Post-Graduate Degree in Mining Engineering from a recognized University or Institution.
Inspection of mines in connection with the enforcement of Mines Act, 1952 and the rule and regulations framed there under and any other duties that may be assigned.
Liable to serve anywhere in India.
General Central Service, Group ‘ A ’ Gazetted, Non-Ministerial. The post(s) are permanent.
