Post Description

Pay Scale   Level 8 in pay matrix (Rs. 47,600-1,51,100)
Age   Not exceeding 30 years as on normal closing date. Relaxable for regularly appointed Central/U.T Government Servant upto five years as per instructions/orders issued by Govt. of India from time to time. Essential Qualificaiton (s)   Essential Chartered Accountant or Cost and Management Accountant or Chartered Financial Analyst or Masters of Business Administration (Finance) or post Graduate Diploma in Management (Finance) or Company Secretary.
Note Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission, for reasons to be recorded in writing, in the case of candidates otherwise well qualified.
Desirable Qualificaiton (s)   Two years’ experience in the field of capital markets.

Note The qualification(s) regarding experience is/are relaxable at the discretion of Union Public Service Commission for reasons to be recorded in writing in the case of candidates belonging to Schedule Caste or Schedule Tribes, if at any stage of selection the Union Public Service Commission is of the opinion that sufficient number of candidates from these communities possessing the requisite experience are not likely to be available to fill up the vacancies reserved for them.
Duty(ies)   (a) To act as a member of the investigation team for examination of the case relating to Corporate Frauds.
(b) To collect evidence /record statements and presentation of evidence and preparation of Investigation Reports.
(c) To provide expertise in the matters involving Capital Market/Merchant Banking.
(d) To assist in providing legal inputs to counsels for filling of complaints under the provisions of various Acts to be subsequently used in prosecution.
(e) To assist in liaisoning with other investigation agencies and to obtain relevant inputs to be used in investigation and prosecution.
(f) Any other work assigned from time to time.
Probation   Two years for direct recruits.
Head Quarter   New Delhi with All India Service Liability (AISL).
Other Details   The post is permanent, General Central Service, Group B (Gazetted) (Non-Ministerial).
