|Essential Qualificaiton (s)||
A. EDUCATION :
(i) A basic University or equivalent qualification included in any one of the Schedules to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956) and must be registered in a State Medical Register or Indian Medical Register.
(ii) DM (Immunology) or MD (Immuno Haematology & Blood Transfusion)/MD (Pathology or Becteriology or Haematology) with two year’s teaching experience or special training in the Department of Immuno Haematology & Blood Transfusion from a recognized University/Institution or equivalent.
Three years’ teaching experience in the concerned speciality after acquiring post-graduate qualification as Lecturer/Registrar/ Senior Resident/ Demonstrator/ Tutor in a Recognized Medical College /Teaching Institution.
NOTE:- 1: At least three years teaching experience as Senior Resident/Tutor/Demonstrator/Registrar in a concerned speciality in a recognized teaching institution after acquiring the first post graduate degree.
NOTE:-2: The crucial date for determining the age limit shall be the closing date for receipt of applications from candidates in India.
NOTE:-3: The qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the commission, for reasons to be recorded in writing, in case of candidates otherwise well qualified.
NOTE:-4: The qualification regarding experience is relaxable at discretion of the Commission, for reason to be recorded in writing, in the case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes and the Schedule Tribes if, at any stage of selection, the Commission is of the opinion that sufficient number of candidates from these communities possessing the requisite experience are not likely to be available to fill up the vacancies reserved for them.
NOTE-5: The teaching experience in any other post like the post of GDMO/MO shall not be considered for eligibility purpose for recruitment to the Teaching posts.

|Duty(ies)||The duties of Senior Lecturer (Immuno Haematology & Blood Transfusion) will be to teach the undergraduate (MBBS) and Post-graduate students, training of interns, paramedical staff and research work.|
