Post Description

Pay Scale	Pay Level- Level-07 of pay matrix as per 7th CPC.
Age	Not exceeding 35 years as on normal closing date. Relaxable for regularly appointed Central/ UT Government Servant upto five years as per instructions/order issued by Govt. of India from time to time. Essential Qualification (s)	A- EDUCATIONAL - Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent. Equivalent means degree certificate issued by Indian/Foreign University recognized by Govt. of India which has been treated as equivalent by Govt. of India. B- Experience- Two Years’ experience in Civil Engineering work. NOTE- The qualification are relaxable at discretion of Union Public Service Commission in case of candidates otherwise well qualified.
Desirable Qualification (s)
Duty(ies)	To examine the preliminary cost estimates for roads/bridges submitted by the State Government of NER for consideration by appropriate authorities and also to help Adviser (T&C) in monitoring the works funded by NEC and other service like electricity, HVAC system for office building including water supply, sewer system as well as operation and maintenance of DG sets etc. and to look after the day to day maintenance works of office and residential building.
Probation	Two years.
Headquarters	Shillong (Meghalaya).
Other Details	General Central Services Group-“B” Gazetted (Non-Ministerial). The posts are permanent.
