Post Description

Pay Scale   Level 7 (Rs. 44900/- to 142400/-) (Total emoluments at the minimum of the scale Rs. 44900/- plus DA as applicable per month approximately.
Age   Not exceeding 30 years as on normal closing date. Relaxable for regularly appointed Central/U.T. Government Servants upto 5 years as per instructions/orders issued by Govt. of India from time to time. For age concession applicable to some other categories of applicants, please see relevant paras of the ‘Instructions and Additional Information to Candidates for Recruitment by Selection.’ Note - The eligibity criteria i.e. Age, Experience, etc will be counted as on 02.04.2020 as this vacancy was already advertised on 14.03.2020 with the closing date 02.04.2020.
Essential Qualification (s)   A. EDUCATIONAL Master Degree in Science in Physics, Electronics, Physics (with Electronics) from a recognized University.
Or
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology in one of the disciplines viz. Mechanical or Electronics or Electronics & Electrical or Electronics & Telecommunication or Computer Science or Instrumentation and Control from a recognized University or Institute.
B. EXPERIENCE
Two years practical experience in Production or Development or Quality Assurance in the fields of Mechanical or Electronics or Electronics & Electrical or Electronics & Telecommunication or Computer Science or Instrumentation and Control from recognized organization or undertaking

Note 1 Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission for reasons to be recorded in writing in case of candidates otherwise well qualified.
Desirable Qualification (s)  
Duty(ies)   The Officer shall be responsible for quality assurance, acceptance, inspection of equipments, arms and ammunitions stores defect investigation, trials, vetting of draft indents/agreements/supply orders, sampling plans, liaison with production units, removal of bottlenecks and suggesting methods of improvement of quality.
Probation   Two years.
Headquarters   New Delhi.
Other Details   General Central Service, Group ‘B’, Gazetted. (Non-Ministerial).
The posts are permanent.
Any Other Conditions   Candidate has to serve in any of the establishments of DGQA located all over India.
