|Pay Scale||As per the 7th CPC Level 10 of the pay matrix (Rs. 56100- 177500) Total Emoulments Rs. 56100 plus other allowance as applicable at the time of appointment|
|Age||Not exceeding 35 years. Relaxable for regularly appointed Central/U.T. Government servants upto five years as per instructions/orders issued by the Govt. of India from time to time.|
|Essential Qualificaiton (s)||
Essential Qualification Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University or Institute
Essential Experience - Three years’ experience in planning, execution and maintenance of civil engineering works in Government sector or in any Archaeological or heritage site.
Note 1 Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission, for reasons to be recorded in writing, in case of candidates otherwise well qualified.

|Duty(ies)||Assisting Superintending Archaeological Engineer in framing and implementing conservation programme , conducting conservation works Drawing up conservation/inspection notes for monuments, Check measuring of works, processing and scrutinizing estimates Performing functions as assigned by Superintending Archaeologist of Circle.|

|Other Details||The posts are permanent, General Central Service, Group’A’ Gazetted, Non-Ministerial|
|Any Other Conditions||Candidates selected for the post will, during the period of probation, be required to undergo training as per requirements of the job prescribed by the Archaeological Survey of India.|
