Post Description

Pay Scale   Level 10 in the Pay Matrix (Rs. 56100-177500/-) Total Emoluments Rs 56100/- plus admissible allowances as per Govt. Rules.
Age   Not exceeding 35 years. Relaxable for Government Servants upto 5 years’ in accordance with the instructions and orders issued by the Central Govt. of India from time to time.
Essential Qualification (s)   A. EDUCATIONAL
Master’s Degree in Statistics/Mathematics/Operations Research/Physics or Economics/Commerce (with Statistics) or degree in Engineering/Computer Science of a recognized University or equivalent*.
*Note Equivalent qualification may be defined/mentioned as under- B.E. or B.Tech in Computer Engineering or Computer Science or Computer Technology or Computer Science and Engineering or Information Technology from a recognized University or Institute.

B. EXPERIENCE
03 years’ experience of electronics data processing work out of which atleast 2 years’ experience should be in actual programming on an electronic computer.

Note 1 Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission for reasons to be recorded in writing in case of candidates otherwise well qualified.
Desirable Qualification (s)   i) Formal training in Computer Programming /System design/analysis.
ii) Knowledge of one or more programming languages (Cplusplus, Java, HTML, JavaScript/ C language)
Duty(ies)   Develop programmes for analyzing and interpreting the collected data. Taking regular Data Backup and storage of data. Implementation of the IT plan of Ministry of Jal Shakti in Board. Collection of relevant literature and software details of ground water related work. Make suitable formats for collection of required data on a uniform basis from Regional offices and enabling data flow form Regional Offices to Headquarters and vice versa. Development of software for cataloguing various activities of the CGWB. Any other item of work entrusted.
Probation   One year.
Headquarters   Central Ground Water Board, Central Head Quarter, Faridabad (Haryana) 121001 with All India Service Liabilities.
Other Details   General Central Service, Group ‘A’, Gazetted. (Non-Ministerial). The post is permanent.
