| Pay Scale | As per 7th CPC- Level-12 (Rs.78800-Rs.209200/-) in the Pay Matrix (Pre-revised Rs. 15600-39100/- (PB-3) plus Rs. 7600 (Grade Pay). (Total emoluments excluding T.A. & HRA at the time of initial appointment will be Rs. 78800/- plus DA as applicable per month.) |

| Essential Qualification (s) |
A. Educational- M.Sc. in Microbiology from a recognized University or Institute or M.Sc. in Botany with specialization in Plant Pathology or Microbiology or Mycology from a recognized University or Institute or M.Sc. in Agriculture with specialization in Soil Science or Agricultural Chemistry or Agronomy or Microbiology or Plant Pathology or Horticulture or Agricultural Extension from a recognized University or Institute. Note Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the UPSC in the case of the candidates otherwise well qualified. B. Experience- Possessing ten years experience in the field of research and development of bio-fertilizer and other aspects of organic farming with experience in quality control of biofertilizers and organic fertilizers including two years administrative experience. |

| Duty(ies) | Promotion and development of organic agriculture, to encourage production and use of organic and biological sources of nutrients, to monitor Quality control of biofertilizers and organic fertilizers, to organize training programmes/ seminars/ conferences etc., to monitor quality control of bio-fertilizers and organic fertiliser, To organize Farmers, Extension Workers, NGOs training programmes to monitor work of collecting data of organic farming, manure, bio-fertilizers, to act as Head of office at respective centre, Any other work assigned by the seniors. |
| Probation | One (01) year for direct recruits. |
| Headquarters | At present NOCF having its Headquarters at Ghaziabad and Regional Centres at Jabalpur, Nagpur, Bengaluru, Imphal, Patna, Gandhinagar, Bhubaneshwar & Panchkula. The officers will be liable to serve at HQ or any of existing Regional Centres or which may be set up in future with liability to serve anywhere in India. |
