Post Description

Pay Scale   Pay Matrix Level - 7
Age   Not exceeding 30 years as on normal closing date. Not exceeding 35 years for Scheduled Castes candidates as on normal closing date in respect of vacancies reserved for them. Relaxable for regularly appointed Central/ UT Government Servant upto five years as per instructions/order issued by Govt. of India from time to time.
Essential Qualification (s)   Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University or Institute.

Note 1: Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission, for reasons to be recorded in writing, in the case of candidates otherwise well qualified.
Desirable Qualification (s)  
Duty(ies)   (a) Supervision and Execution of Works.
(b) Achievement of the targets fixed by the department.
(c) Completion of each project with due consideration for
quality and economy, proper maintenance of buildings,
structures, areas and equipments.
(d) Preparation of works Accounts, Store Accounts and proper
maintenance of stores etc.
Probation   2 years

Other Details   General Central Service, Group ‘B’ Gazetted, Non-Ministerial. The posts are permanent.
