Post Description

Pay Scale   As per 7th CPC- Level-10 (Rs. 56100 – 177500/-) in the Pay Matrix. (Total emoluments excluding T.A. and HRA at the time of initial appointment will be Rs. 56100/- plus DA as applicable per month.)
Age   Not exceeding 38 years for Other Backward Class (OBC) category candidates as on normal closing date. Relaxable for regularly appointed Central Government/UT Government Servant upto five years as per instructions/orders issued by Govt. of India from time to time. For age concession applicable to some other categories of applicants, please see relevant paras of the ‘Instructions and Additional Information to Candidates for Recruitment by Selection.’
Essential Qualification (s)   A. Educational:-
Master’s Degree in Zoology or Botany or Anthropology or Human Biology or Biochemistry or Microbiology or Genetics or Biotechnology or Molecular Biology or Forensic Science with Zoology or Botany or Forensic Science as one of the subject at B. Sc. Level from a recognized University.

B. Experience:-
03 years experience in analytical methods/research therein in the relevant field.

Note: Experience in relevant field means experience of Research/Analytical methods therein in the field of Zoology or Botany or Anthropology or Biology or Human Biology or Biochemistry or Microbiology or Genetics or Biotechnology or Molecular Biology.
Desirable Qualification (s)   Doctorate degree in concerned discipline from a recognized University or equivalent
Duty(ies)   The officers are required to examine crime exhibits, visit scenes of crime, to depose expert evidence in courts and to assist Senior Officer. The responsibilities attached with the posts also require research and development.
Probation   One (01) year
Headquarters   In the National Capital Territory of Delhi
Other Details   General Central Services, Group-A, Gazetted, Non-Ministerial. The posts are temporary but likely to be continued indefinitely.
Any Other Conditions   Reservation under OBC category will be provided only to those candidates who submit OBC certificates issued by GNCT of Delhi. Candidates who submit OBC certificate issued by other states/UTs will not be considered.
