Post Description

Pay Scale   Level-10 in the pay matrix (₹ 56,100-1,77,500/-)
Age   Not exceeding 35 years as on the normal closing date. Relaxable for regularly appointed Central/ U.T. Government Servant upto Five years as per instructions/orders issued by Govt. of India from time to time. Essential Qualification (s)   A. EDUCATION

(i) Master’s Degree in Psychology from a recognized University and

(ii) Post Graduate Diploma of one year duration in Vocational Guidance or counseling from a recognized University or Institute.

NOTE- 1 The crucial date for determining the age limit shall be the closing date for receipt of applications from candidates in India.

NOTE- 2 The qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the commission, for reasons to be recorded in writing, in case of candidates otherwise well qualified.

NOTE- 3 The qualification(s) regarding experience is relaxable at discretion of the Commission, for reason to be recorded in writing, in the case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes and the Schedule Tribes if, at any stage of selection, the Commission is of the opinion that sufficient number of candidates from these communities possessing the requisite experience are not likely to be available to fill up the vacancies reserved for them.
Desirable Qualification (s)   One year experience in Psychological Assessment, Vocational Assessment and Placement Services in an institute recognized by the Central or State Government or an autonomous body under the Central or State Govt. or a University recognized by the University Grant Commission or an Institute recognized by the Regulatory Council.
Duty(ies)   1) Academic & Research
- To teach students, conduct research and provide clinical services
2) Service Programme & Counseling
- Assessment & counseling of physically disabled for educational and employment purpose
3) Administration
- Overall supervision of the Department.
- Preparation of reports and maintenance of statistics.
Probation   One year
