Post Description

Pay Scale   Level – 7 (Rs. 44,900 - 1,42,400/- ) of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix. Total Emoluments Rs. 44,900/- plus DA as applicable per month
Age   Not exceeding 30 years as on closing date. Not exceeding 35 years for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes candidates as on closing date in respect of the vacancy reserved for them. Not exceeding 33 years for Other Backward Classes candidates as on closing date in respect of the vacancy reserved for them. Relaxable for regularly appointed Central/U.T. Government servants upto five years as per instructions/orders issued by Govt. of India from time to time. Essential Qualification (s)   Essential
Bachelor’s degree of a recognized University.
Note-I The qualification are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission, for reasons to be recorded in writing, in case of candidates otherwise well qualified.

Experience
Two years’ experience in Administration, Accounts and Establishment, Legal or Vigilance matters in Central or State or Union Territory Government or Government Autonomous or Statutory Organisation or Central or State Public Sector Corporation or University.

Note–II The qualification regarding experience is relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission, for reasons to be recorded in writing, in case of candidates belonging to Scheduled castes or Scheduled Tribes, if at any stage of selection the Union Public Service Commission is of the opinion that sufficient number of candidates from these communities possessing the requisite experience are not likely to be available to fill up the post reserved for them.
Desirable Qualification (s)   (i) Degree in Law or Personnel Management from recognized University
&
(ii) Knowledge of Govt. Rules and Regulations relating to administration, accounts and establishment.
Duty(ies)   To look after the work of Administration, Accounts and Establishment, Legal or Vigilance matters and other allied duties.
Probation   Two years for direct recruits.
Headquarters   Headquarters is at Kolkata with All India service liability.
Other Details   General Central Service, Group ‘B’, Gazetted, Ministerial. These posts are permanent.
