Post Description

Pay Scale   Pay Level - 07 in pay matrix of 7th CPC (Rs 44900-142400)
Age   Not exceeding 30 years as on closing date. Not exceeding 35 years for Scheduled Castes Candidates as on closing date in respect of the vacancies reserved for them. Not exceeding 33 years for Other Backward Classes candidates as on closing date in respect of the vacancies reserved for them. Not exceeding 40 years for PwBD candidates as on closing date in respect of the vacancies reserved for them. Relaxable for regularly appointed Central/U.T. Government servants upto five years as per instructions/orders issued by Govt. of India from time to time. Essential Qualification (s)   A.EDUCATIONAL Degree of a recognized university.

Note:- Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the competent authority, for reasons to be recorded in writing, in the case of candidates otherwise well qualified.

B.EXPERIENCE Three years’ experience in a Government or semi-Government organization or in a private concern of repute in indenting purchases maintenance of technical Stores or accounts.

Note:- The qualification(s) regarding experience is/are relaxable at the discretion of the competent authority, for reasons to be recorded in writing in the case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, if at any stage of selection, the competent authority is of the opinion that sufficient number of candidates from this community possessing the requisite experience are not likely to be available to fill up the vacancies reserved for them.
Desirable Qualification (s)  
Duty(ies)   Indenting purchases, maintenance of technical stores and keeping of stores accounts. To advise the Director or concerned Lab on all latest instructions relating to stores aspects. Any other work assigned from time to time.
Probation   Two years.
Headquarters   DRDO HQ, Ministry of Defence, New Delhi.
Other Details   Group ‘B’ Gazetted, General Central Service, Ministerial. These posts are permanent.
Any Other Conditions   To serve anywhere in India, viz. Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Chandigarh (UT), Uttarakhand, Karnataka, Kerala and Telangana.
