Post Description

Pay Scale   Rs. 44900-142400/- (Level 7 of Pay Matrix of 7th CPC)
Age   Not exceeding 35 years as on closing date. Relaxable for regularly appointed Central/U.T. Government servants upto five years as per instructions/orders issued by Govt. of India from time to time. Essential Qualification (s)   A. EDUCATIONAL
(i) Degree of a recognized University
(ii) Degree or Diploma in Librarianship of a recognized University or Institution.

Note-Qualification relaxable at the Commission’s discretion in case of candidates otherwise well qualified.

B.EXPERIENCE
(i) About 5 years’ practical experience in a responsible capacity in a library of standing.
(ii) Proficiency in Telugu language.
Desirable Qualification (s)  
Duty(ies)   1) In charge of Telugu Language Division of CRL (2) Responsible for all sectional work including cataloguing and classifying of the Telugu Books (3) Compilation and editing of Telugu Language Bibliography including Roman Script of INB (4) Answering reference queries correspondence, translation from and into concerned language (5) Reading proofs of Bibliography (6) Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Probation   2 years
Headquarters   Kolkata with liability to serve anywhere in India.
Other Details   The post is permanent, classified as in General Central Service Group-‘B’, Gazetted, Non-Ministerial.
