Post Description

Pay Scale   Level-7 Rs. 44,900-142400/- plus DA
Age   Not exceeding 33 years for OBC candidates as on closing date in respect of vacancies reserved for them. Relaxable for Age regularly appointed Central/U.T Government servants upto five years as per instructions/orders issued by Govt. of India from time to time. Essential Qualification (s)   A. EDUCATIONAL- Degree from a recognised university.

Note Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission, for reasons to be recording in writing, in the case of candidates otherwise well qualified.

B. EXPERIENCE- Two years’ experience in various branches of photography including experience in Press Photography in an organisation in the field of Print or Audio-Visual media.
Desirable Qualification (s)   (i) Diploma in Photography or Motion Picture Photography (Cinematography) from a recognised institution
(ii) One year’s experience in production of documents films
(iii) One year’s experience in write-ups on photographic features, published in various magazines.
Duty(ies)   Photography coverage of activities and events of the Ministry of Defence and Armed Forces, anywhere in India.
Probation   Two years.
Headquarters   DPR/MoD, New Delhi
Other Details   Vacancy at New Delhi, with All India Service Liability. Classification - General Central Service, Group ‘B’, Gazetted, Non-Ministerial. This post is permanent.
