Relaxable for regularly appointed Central/ UT Government Servant upto five years as per instructions/order issued by Govt. of India from time to time. |
| Essential Qualification (s) |
A- EDUCATIONAL Bachelor of Engineering or Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers (AMIE)** or B.Tech degree in Civil or Mining Engineering from a recognized University. ** (Only those students who were enrolled with Institutions with permanent recognition up to 31.05.2013 would be eligible) B- EXPERIENCE Two years experience in surveying including Total Station, GPS, Theodolite Surveying, traversing, leveling, contouring, Computer Software under registered engineering or surveying establishment, mine and dam. Note- (i) The qualification are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission in case of candidates otherwise well qualified. Note- (ii) The qualification(s) regarding experience is/are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission in the case of candidates belonging to Schedule Caste/Schedule Tribe, if at any stage of selection, the Commission is of the opinion that sufficient number of candidates from these communities possessing the requisite experience are not likely to be available to fill up the vacancies reserved for them. |

| Duty(ies) | Supervision of survey work, guide and train survey personnel, ensure quality of work and completion of survey task in time, proper periodic maintenance of survey instruments and accessories, keep records of quality and output of work submitted by survey personnel attached to him. |
