| Age | Not exceeding 30 years as on closing date. Not exceeding 30 years for EWS category candidates as on closing date in respect of the vacancies reserved for them. Not exceeding 33 years for Other Backward Classes category candidates as on closing date in respect of the vacancies reserved for them. Relaxable for regularly appointed Central/U.T. Government Servants upto five years as per instructions/orders issued by Govt. of India from time to time. | Essential Qualification (s) |
A. EDUCATIONAL- Master’s Degree in Economics from a recognized University or equivalent. Note- Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission in case of candidates otherwise well qualified. B. EXPERIENCE- Two years’ experience in conducting and guiding investigations or surveys and research relating to small-scale industries. |
| Desirable Qualification (s) |
(i) Experience in handling economic data pertaining to and knowledge of problems relating to small scale industries and/or other industries (ii) Basic Knowledge of computer application in currently used software/packages for officers. |
| Duty(ies) | To conduct surveys on District Industrial Potentiality, Market, Credit Availability to SSI sector and its utilization and sick SSI units. To prepare State Industrial profiles/project profiles, feasibility reports, notes on problems being faced by SSI units, measures for revival of sick SSI units and Tax concessions etc and any other duties that may be assigned. |
