| Age | Not exceeding 35 years as on normal closing date. Relaxable for regularly appointed Central/ UT Government Servant upto five years as per instructions/order issued by Govt. of India from time to time. | Essential Qualification (s) |
A- EDUCATIONAL (i) Engineering Degree in Chemical Technology or M.Sc (Analytical Chemistry) or M.Sc (Organic Chemistry) from a recognized university. B- EXPERIENCE Two years’ practical experience in Production or Development or Quality Assurance in the field of Petroleum products / Paints & Chemical products. Note- The qualification are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission in case of candidates otherwise well qualified. |
| Desirable Qualification (s) | Minimum six months certificate course in German, French, Russian, Japanese or Chinese language from a recognized institute. |
| Duty(ies) | Preparation of specifications and vetting of documents pertaining to procurement of items/stores. Technical evaluations, codifications, testing, inspection of equipment, systems/sub system pertaining to the relevant discipline and defect reports. Creation of test facilities. Interaction with the Industry and preparation of capacity/capability reports. Technical documentation and Administration of test labs. |
