| Pay Scale | Academic Level 10 with rationalized entry pay of Rs 57,700/- (Revised). PB-3, Rs15,600-39,100 Plus Academic Grade Pay Rs6000/-(Pre-Revised). |
| Age | Not exceeding 35 years for General Candidates as on normal closing date. Not exceeding 40 years for Schedule Caste candidates as on normal closing date in respect of the vacancies reserved for them. Not exceeding 38 Years for Other Backward Classes candidates as on normal closing date in respect of the vacancies reserved for them. Relaxable for regularly appointed Central /U.T. Government Servant up to Five years as per instructions/ orders issued by Govt. of India from time to time. | Essential Qualification (s) |
A. EDUCATIONAL Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology and Master of Engineering or Master of Technology from a recognized University or Institute, with First Class or Equivalent either in Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology or Master of Engineering or Master of Technology in Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering. Note 1:- If a class or division is not awarded, minimum of Sixty percent marks in aggregate shall be considered equivalent to first class or division. If a Grade Point system is adopted the Cumulative Grade Point Average will be converted into equivalent marks as below: Grade Point=Equivalent Percentage: 6.25=55% 6.75=60% 7.25=65% 7.75=70% 8.25=75% Note 2:- Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission, for reasons to be recorded in writing, in case of candidates otherwise well qualified. Note 3:- The qualification(s) regarding experience is/are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission, for reasons to be recorded in writing in the case of candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes, if at any stage of selection the Union Public Service Commission, is of the opinion that sufficient number of candidates from this community possessing the requisite experience are not likely to be available to fill up the vacancies reserved for them. |
