Pay Scale | Pay Level- 11 |
Age | Not exceeding 40 years as on normal closing date and not exceeding 43 years for OBC candidates as on normal closing date in respect of vacancies reserved for them. Relaxable for regularly appointed Central/ UT Government Servant upto five years as per instructions/order issued by Govt. of India from time to time. Essential Qualification (s) |
A (i) EDUCATIONAL Bachelor of Engineering or Technology in Mining Engineering from a recognized University or Institution. (ii) Five years experience in core Mining activity in- (a) Managerial position in Metalliferous (Non-coal) mines which includes the period as graduate or management or junior trainee engineer, or (b) Government Department dealing with mines and minerals as Gazetted Officer. Or (B)(i) Master of Engineering or Technology in Mining Engineering from a recognized University or Institution. (ii) Three years experience in core Mining activity in- (a) Managerial position in Metalliferous (Non-coal) mines which includes the period as graduate or management or junior trainee engineer, or (b) Government Department dealing with mines and minerals as Gazetted Officer. Note- (i) The qualification are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission in case of candidates otherwise well qualified. |
Desirable Qualification (s) | |
Duty(ies) | Inspection of Mines for systematic development of mines, conservation of minerals and protection of mines environment under the Mines and Minerals (Development & Regulation) Act, 1957 and rules made there under. To prefer court complaints for violations. To monitor the mining activities in accordance with the approved mining plan/scheme of mining. To process stopping proposals for underground mines. |
Probation | One year. |
Headquarters | Nagpur(Maharashtra) with service liability anywhere in India. |
Other Details | General Central Service Group A’ Gazetted (Non-Ministerial) . These posts are permanent. |
