| Essential Qualification (s) |
(A) EDUCATIONAL (1) Degree in Textile Processing or Textile Chemistry or Bachelor of Engineering/Bachelor of Technology in Textile Processing or Textile Chemistry from a recognised University or Institute (B) EXPERIENCE Five years teaching experience as a Lecturer in Textile Chemistry/ Bleaching/ Dyeing/ Printing/ Finishing in a recognized Institute. Note 1 Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the UPSC for reasons to be recorded in writing, in case of candidates otherwise well qualified. |
| Desirable Qualification (s) | Master of Technology in Textile Processing or Textile Chemistry from a recognized University. |
| Duty(ies) | Teaching Post Diploma and Diploma course in textile Printing/Processing/Chemistry and Finishing (Theory & Practical), Design and Development of laboratoty instructions, Student assessment and evolution Organization R&D work project, Departmental administration and Assistance in the administration of the institute, Curriculum development and development of resources material, Innovation in technical education and evolution, Student counseling and students interaction, Co-curricular and extracurricular activities, Innovation in instruction. |
