Post Description

Pay Scale   Pay Level- 11
Age   Not exceeding 40 years as on normal closing date. Not exceeding 43 years for OBC candidates in respect of vacancies reserved for them. Relaxable for regularly appointed Central/ UT Government Servant upto five years as per instructions/order issued by Govt. of India from time to time. Essential Qualification (s)   A- EDUCATIONAL-
(1) Degree in Civil Engineering or B.E.(Civil) or B.Tech (Civil) or B.Sc Engineering (Civil) or A.M.I.E.(Civil) from a recognized University/Institute.

Note 1 The candidates who were enrolled for Associate Member of Institution of Engineers (AMIE) upto 31.05.2013 are only eligible and the candidates who have enrolled on or after 01.06.2013 for AMIE are not eligible for consideration to the post of Executive Engineer(Civil)/Surveyor of Works(Civil) (Direct Recruitment).

B. Experience-
Seven years professional experience in Civil Engineering and related* field.
* Related means “Civil Works in Irrigation & Flood Control”.
Note- (i) The qualification are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission in case of candidates otherwise well qualified.
Desirable Qualification (s)  
Duty(ies)   Execution of works in division, DDO as well as Head of Office for staff working under him, procurement of men, material and machinery, management of works of organization and supervision of works, preparation and transmission to competent Authority, the preliminary estimates/Schemes for issue of administrative approval and expenditure sanction.
Probation   One year.

Other Details   General Central Service Group A’ Gazetted. (Non-Ministerial). The posts are permanent.
Any Other Conditions   As per circular dated 12/03/2020 issued by services Department, Govt. of NCT of Delhi consequent upon a letter issued by Govt. of India, MHA vide letter No 13028/100/2015-Delhi-1 dated 14/01/2020 “that a person who is recognized as member of the OBC is his original state will be entitled to all the benefits of reservation in that state only and not in other State/Union Territories.” Accordingly OBC certificate issued by the NCT of Delhi only will be accepted.
