Post Description

Pay Scale   Level – 10 (Rs.56,100-1,77,500/-) in Pay Matrix as per CCS (R.P.) Rules, 2016. Total emoluments excluding T.A. & HRA at the time of initial appointment will be Rs. 56,100/- plus DA as applicable per month approximately.
Age   Not exceeding 40 years for Scheduled Tribe candidates as on normal closing date in respect of the vacancies reserved for them. Relaxable for regularly appointed Central/U.T. Government Servant upto 5 years as per instructions/orders issued by Govt. of India from time to time. Essential Qualification (s)   Educational-

Master’s Degree in Chemistry from a recognized University or Institute.

Note 1 The qualification (s) are relaxable at the discretion of Union of Public Service Commission, for reasons to be recorded in writing, in the case of candidates otherwise well qualified.

Experience

Possessing three years’ experience in the field of Chemistry.

Note- The qualification(s) regarding experience is/are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission, for reasons to be recorded in writing in the case of candidates belonging to the Scheduled Tribes if at any stage of selection the Union Public Service Commission is of the opinion that sufficient number of candidates from the community possessing the requisite experience are not likely to be available to fill up the vacancies reserved for them.
Desirable Qualification (s)  
Duty(ies)   Construction material survey, collection of construction materials such as soil, rock, sand and aggregates samples and geotechnical data from project sites, conducting field tests at the project site, conducting laboratory tests on the construction materials, analysis and compilation of tests results, preparation of reports, formulation of project proposals, Research and Development activities, publication of research papers and collection and maintenance of data base on the area of activities.
Probation   One Year
Headquarters   Central Soil and Materials Research Station, New Delhi, with All India Service Liability.
Other Details   General Central Service, Group ‘A’, Gazetted, Non Ministerial. The post is permanent.
