Post Description

Pay Scale   Level -7 (Rs.44,900/- - 142,400/-)
Age   Not exceeding 30 years as on normal closing date. Not exceeding 35 years for Scheduled Castes candidates as on normal closing date in respect of the vacancies reserved for them. Relaxable for regularly appointed Central/U.T. Government Servant upto Five years as per instructions/orders issued by Govt. of India from time to time. Essential Qualification (s)   A. EDUCATIONAL Post Graduate Degree in Economics/ Applied Economics/ Business Economics/ Econometrics from a recognized University/ Institute or equivalent or Post Graduate Degree in Mathematics/ Statistics/ Commerce with one paper in Economics from a recognized University/ Institute or equivalent.
Note 1 Candidates having Post Graduate Degree in Mathematics/ Statistics/ Commerce are requested to upload certificate/ marksheets of all the years/ semesters indicating Economics therein as one of the subjects failing which their application will outrightly be rejected.
Note 2 Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission in case of Candidates otherwise well qualified.
Desirable Qualification (s)  
Duty(ies)   To supervise the scrutiny of data, preparation of tabulation tables, collection of primary data/collection of data for sample units besides drafting of report for finalization.

Other Details   The post is permanent. Classification- General Central Service, Group ‘B’ Gazetted, Non Ministerial.
Any Other Conditions   All India Service Liability, Note- Only Mild (M) category candidates of ASD-Autism Spectrum Disorder are eligible and Moderate (Mod) category candidates of ASD-Autism Spectrum Disorder are not eligible.
