Post Description
| Pay Scale | Level – 08 (Rs.47,600-1,51,100/-) in Pay Matrix as per CCS (R.P.) Rules, 2016. Total emoluments excluding T.A. & HRA at the time of initial appointment will be Rs. 47,600/- plus DA as applicable per month approximately |
| Age | Not exceeding 30 years for General and EWS Category Candidates as on normal closing date. Not exceeding 33 years for Other Backward Class Candidates and not exceeding 35 years for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe Candidates as on normal closing date in respect of the vacancies reserved for them. Relaxable for regularly appointed Central Govt. / UT Govt. servants upto five years as per the instructions issued by the Govt. of India from time to time. | Essential Qualification (s) |
Educational- Master of Science Degree in Geology or Applied Geology or Geo-exploration or Earth Science and Resource Management or Hydrogeology or Master of Technology in Engineering Geology from a recognized University. Note- Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission, for reasons to be recorded in writing, in case of candidates otherwise well qualified. |

| Duty(ies) | Undertake Reappraisal Hydrogeological Surveys, Monitoring of Hydrograph Network Station. To undertake artificial recharge studies conjunctive use, water shed management pollution, mathematical modeling studies etc. Periodic Ground Water Resource assessment, Data collection, preparation of hydrogeological maps, atlases. Assistance in organizing workshops/seminars/exhibitions etc. |
