|Age||Not exceeding 30 years as on normal closing date. Not Exceeding 35 years for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes Candidates as on normal closing date in respect of the vacancy reserved for them. Not exceeding 33 years for Other Backward Classes candidates as on normal closing date in respect of the vacancies reserved for them. Relaxable for regularly appointed Central/U.T. Government servants upto five years as instructions/orders issued by Govt. of India from time to time. |Essential Qualification (s)||
Educational & Experience- (i) Master’s Degree from a recognized University and
(ii) Two years’ experience in organizing programmes relating to youth work or youth welfare including National Cadet Corps or National Service Scheme or National Service Volunteers Scheme or sports or cultural and educational activities including camping
B (i) Degree of a recognized University and
(ii) Four years’ experience in organizing programme relating to youth work or youth welfare including National Cadet Corps or National Service Scheme or National Service Volunteers Scheme or sports or cultural and educational activities including camping.
Note- Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission in case of candidates otherwise well qualified.
Note- The qualification(s) regarding experience is/are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission, for reasons to be recorded in writing in the case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, if at any stage of selection, the Union Public Service Commission is of the opinion that sufficient number of candidates from these communities possessing the requisite experience are not likely to be available to fill up the vacancies reserved for them.
|Desirable Qualification (s)|
|Duty(ies)||To provide assistance to Deputy Programme Adviser/Assistant Programme Adviser (when posted under D.P.A/A.P.A) liaise with the State Governments, universities and other institutions for proper implementation of National Service Scheme and other youth programmes in the State(s)/Union Territory falling under the jurisdiction of the Zonal/Regional Centre and in all other work of the D.P.A/A.P.A.|
|Other Details||General Central Services, Group ‘B’, Gazetted (Non-Ministerial). The post is permanent with all India Service liability.|
