Post Description

Pay Scale   Level-10 (Rs 56100-177500/-)
Age   Not exceeding 35 years as on normal closing date. Relaxable for regularly appointed Central/U.T.Government Servant upto five years as per instructions/orders issued by Govt. of India from time to time.For age concession applicable to some other categories of applicants, please see relevant paras of the ‘Instructions and Additional Information to Candidates for Recruitment by Selection.’
Essential Qualification (s)   A. EDUCATIONAL A Post Graduate Degree/Diploma from a recognized university in Social work or Labour welfare or Industrial Relations or Personnel Management or a Degree in Law from a recognized university.
Note- Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission, in the case of candidates otherwise well qualified.

B. Experience- 02 years’ experience in the field of Labour Welfare Work/ Industrial Relations/ Personnel Management.
Desirable Qualification (s)  
Duty(ies)   1. Handling of Conciliation and Industrial Disputes
2. Registering Officer under various Labour Laws like Contract Labour Act/Building & Other Construction Act/Shops & Establishment Regulation
3. Conducting of inspections/Prosecutions under various Labour Laws.
4. Authority under Payment of Wages Act.
5. As Beneficiary Registration Officer under Building and Other Construction Workers (RE&CS) Act 1996 has to conduct awareness camps and responsible for registration of workers under Board.

Other Details   The post is permanent, classified as General Central Service, Group ’A’, Gazetted, Non-Ministerial.
