| Pay Scale | Pay Scale Rs. 15,600-39,100( PB-03) plus Rs. 5400( Grade Pay) NPA as per rules( pre-revised) plus usual allowances (Revised pay matrix level-10). |
| Age | Not exceeding 32 years for UR and EWS candidate as on the normal closing date. Not exceeding 35 years for OBC candidates and not exceeding 37 years for Scheduled Caste candidates as on normal closing date in respect of vacancies reserved for them. Relaxable for regularly appointed Central/ U.T. Government Servant upto Five years as per instructions/orders issued by Govt. of India from time to time. | Essential Qualification (s) |
EDUCATIONAL (i) A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 . Holders of Educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. (ii) Completion of compulsory rotating internship candidates who may not have completed rotating internship shall be eligible to appear for the written examination provided that, if selected, they shall have satisfactorily completed the compulsory internship before appointment. NOTE- 1 The qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the commission, for reasons to be recorded in writing, in case of candidates otherwise well qualified. NOTE- 2 The qualifications granted in United Kingdom shall be recognized medical qualifications only when granted on or before 11-11-1978. |

| Duty(ies) | Candidates shall work in the hospitals of the Government of NCT of Delhi and shall be primarily handling patients of various types in these Hospitals for medical care. However, they can, also be entrusted with other work including administrative and other related work as per exigencies of the Public Service. |

| Any Other Conditions | 1. Persons appointed to the service shall not be allowed private practice of any kind whatsoever including any consultation and laboratory work. 2. Reservation under OBC category will be provided only to those candidates who submit OBC certificate issued by Govt. of NCT of Delhi. Candidates who submit OBC certificate issued by other state/ UTs will be considered as General/ Unreserved candidates against General/ Unreserved vacancies. |
