Post Description

Pay Scale   Pay Matrix Level – 10 (Rs. 56,100 – 1,77,500/-) Total Emoluments Rs. 56,100/- plus DA as applicable per month
Age   Not exceeding 35(thirty-five) years as on normal closing date. Not exceeding 35 (thirty-five) years for EWS candidates as on normal closing date. Not exceeding 40 years for Scheduled Castes and not exceeding 38 years for Other Backward Classes candidates as on normal closing date in respect of the vacancies reserved for them. Not exceeding 35 years for ST candidates. Relaxable for regularly appointed Central/UT/Government Servant upto five years as per instructions/orders issued by Govt. of India from time to time. Essential Qualification (s)   A. EDUCATIONAL:-
B.Com degree of a recognized University.
Note – 1 The qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission, for reasons to be recorded in writing, in case of candidates otherwise well qualified.
B. EXPERIENCE:-
Three (03) years’ experience in Finance, Budget, Accounts and Audit from Government or Industrial Organisation.
Note-2 The qualification regarding experience is relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission, for reasons to be recorded in writing, in the case of candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes, if at any stage of selection, the UPSC is of the opinion that sufficient number of candidates from this community possessing the requisite experience are not likely to be available to fill up the vacancy reserved for them.
Desirable Qualification (s)   Passed final Examination from Institute of Cost and Work Accountants of India (ICWA) or Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (CA) or Master of Business Administration (Finance) from recognised University or Institute.
Duty(ies)   To look after the work of Finance, Budget, Accounts and Audit.
Probation   One year for direct recruits.
Headquarters   Headquarters is at Kolkata with All India service liability
Other Details   General Central Service, Group ‘A’ Gazetted, Ministerial. The post is permanent.
