| Pay Scale | LEVEL- 07 ( Rs. 44900-142400/-) |
| Age | Not exceeding 35 years for Scheduled Tribe candidates as on normal closing date. Relaxable for regularly appointed Central/U.T. Government Servant up to Five years as per instruction/orders issued by Govt. of India from time to time. | Essential Qualification (s) |
A. EDUCATIONAL (i) Master’s degree in Anthropology from a recognized University or Institute. (ii) Diploma in Museology from a recognized University or Institute. Note Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the competent authority, for reasons to be recorded in writing in case of candidates otherwise well qualified. |
| Desirable Qualification (s) | At least 1 year experience of handling, maintaining and preserving specimen in a recognized museum. |
| Duty(ies) | To organize and develop the Regional Anthropological Museum and to undertake to field collection and studies in tribal and other areas. |
| Probation | 02(Two) years |
| Headquarters | Kolkata ( with All India Service Liability ) |
| Other Details | The post is permanent and classified as General Central Service, Group-B Gazetted, Non-Ministerial. |
