Post Description

Pay Scale   Level 11 in the pay matrix (67,700-2,08,700/-) plus NPA
Age   Not exceeding 50 years for Scheduled Caste candidates as on normal closing date. Relaxable for regularly appointed Central/ U.T. Government Servant upto Five years as per instructions/orders issued by Govt. of India from time to time.
Essential Qualification (s)   EDUCATION-
(i) A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of Educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 .

(ii) Post-Graduate Degree in the concerned specialty as mentioned in section A in Schedule VI i.e. M.D.(Bio-Chemistry)/ M.Sc.( Medical Bio-Chemistry)/Ph.D.( Bio-Chemistry)/ D.Sc.( Bio-Chemistry).

EXPERIENCE:- Three years’ experience in the concerned Specialty after obtaining the first Post Graduate degree.

NOTE- 1 The qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the commission, for reasons to be recorded in writing, in case of candidates otherwise well qualified.

NOTE- 2 The qualification(s) regarding experience is/are relaxable at the discretion of the Commission, for reasons to be recorded in writing in the case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes if at any stage of selection, the Commission is of the opinion that sufficient number of candidates from this community possessing the requisite experience are not likely to be available to fill up the vacancies reserved for them.

NOTE- 3 The qualifications granted in United Kingdom shall be recognized medical qualifications only when granted on or before 11.11.1978.
Desirable Qualification (s)  
Duty(ies)   Candidates shall work in the hospitals of the Govt. of NCT of Delhi and shall be primarily handling patients of various types in these hospitals for medical care. However, they can also be entrusted with other work including administrative and other related work as per exigencies of the public service.
