Post Description

Pay Scale   Level 10 of Pay Level Matrix (Rs. 56100-177500/-). Total Emoluments Rs. 65,000/- (Approx)
Age   Not exceeding 35 years for Unreserved (UR) category candidates as on normal closing date. Relaxable for regularly appointed Central/U.T. Government Servant upto five years as per instructions/orders issued by Govt. of India from time to time. Essential Qualification (s)   A. EDUCATIONAL
Degree of a recognized University or Institute.

Note:- Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the UPSC for reasons to be recorded in writing, in case of candidates otherwise well qualified.

B. EXPERIENCE
Three years of experience in a supervisory capacity of Administration, Accounts and Establishment work in a Government office or Public Sector Undertaking or Autonomous body or Statutory body.
Desirable Qualification (s)  
Duty(ies)   1. Dealing with personnel, legal, financial, administrative and establishment matters pertaining to Civilian employees of Indian Navy.
2. Initiation and implementation of recruitment, promotion, upgradation and transfer/posting of Civilian employees.
3. Handling court cases, disciplinary cases, pay and allowances of Civilian employees.

Other Details   General Central Service, Group ‘A’ Gazetted, Non-Ministerial. The post is permanent.
