| Pay Scale | Level-07 of the pay matrix (Rs. 44900- 142400). Pre-revised- PB-2 (Rs. 9300-34800) GP -4600 |
| Age | Not exceeding 30 years for EWS & UR candidates as on normal closing date. Not exceeding 33 years for Other Backward Classes candidates as on normal closing date in respect of the vacancies reserved for them. Relaxable for regularly appointed Central/ U.T. Government Servant upto Five years as per Instructions/ orders issued by Govt. of India from time to time. | Essential Qualification (s) |
(A) Educational- (i) M.Sc. in Agriculture with specialization in Horticulture of a recognized University/ Institute or M.Sc. in Horticulture with Floriculture or Olericulture as a Subject of a recognized University/ Institute or M.Sc. in Botany with Horticulture as a subject of a recognized University/ Institute or B.Sc. in Agriculture/Botany/Horticulture with Master’s Degree in Landscape Architecture of a recognized University/ Institute or M.Sc. in Floriculture and Landscaping or Horticulture from a recognized University/ Institute. (B) Experience 02 Years’ experience in Horticulture including ornamental gardening. Note- Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission for reasons to be recorded in writing, in the case of candidates otherwise well qualified. |
| Desirable Qualification (s) | |
| Duty(ies) | Supervision of maintenance of works and staff, tendering technical advice to the subordinate in respect of Government property and to tenants regarding Floral, Fruit and vegetables gardens, supervision of original works and ensure maintenance of correct standards and specifications. Control of staff and maintenance of their service records, preparation of estimates for original and maintenance of works and control of expenditure of these works. |
