Post Description

Pay Scale   Level – 11 (Rs. 67700-208700)
Age   Not exceeding 40 years as on normal closing date. Relaxable for regularly appointed Central/ U.T. Government Servant upto Five years as per Instructions/ orders issued by Govt. of India from time to time. Essential Qualification (s)   (i) Master’s Degree in Agriculture or Agricultural Economics or Economics or Commerce or Statistics from a recognized University with five years experience in the field of cooperation or credit in a Government or a recognised cooperative or credit organization.

Note- Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission for reasons to be recorded in writing, in the case of candidates otherwise well qualified.
Desirable Qualification (s)   Diploma in Cooperation from a recognized institution or equivalent.
Duty(ies)   Overseeing agricultural development policies, agriculture credit/ finance, crop insurance, agricultural marketing, and rural debt. Evaluating proposals from various stakeholders and monitoring progress. Facilitating coordination among relevant entities including governments and international agencies. Conducting field studies to enhance assistance strategies, improve delivery efficiency, and ensure transparency in operations.
Probation   One Year
Headquarters   New Delhi with liability to serve anywhere in India or abroad.
Other Details   General Central Service Group “A” Gazetted, Non- Ministerial. The post is permanent.
